O.J. Simpson
O.J. Simpson graduated from Galileo High School in San Francisco in 1965 and went on to become a Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Southern California in 1968. That same year the future felon met J. Edgar Hoover (Larry Csonka, a Syracuse man, was also on hand for the historic meeting). Simpson went on to a long pro career with the Buffalo Bills and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
Simpson's later accomplishments include a role in The Towering Inferno and an acquittal in the double murder of his ex-wife and her friend. He is currently serving time in the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada for kidnapping and robbery. Some of Simpson's fellow inmates reportedly call him "Daddy Juice" because of his largesse with his prison account funds.
